Distribution : From India to China, throughout Malaysia, Indonesia.
Ecology : in areas with a pronounced dry season, and also in areas with a short dry period; on grassy sites, roadside, fallow and neglected arable land.
Propagation and dispersal : Seed and Epizoochorous.
Agriculture importance : a weed of minor importance
Control : moderately susceptible to 2.4 and MCPA. Pre emergence treatment with, 2.3.6 TBA or MCPA or Propanil
Used as a poultice againts chronic leg sores, also in animal ; also used as an anthemintic againts roundworms.
